Chet A. Hymas, DMD
Dr. Chet Hymas makes it his mission to provide his patients with the finest dental care in the eastern Washington area. He is committed to delivering exceptional customer service and staying up-to-date on the latest dental technology to ensure his patients receive the highest quality of dentistry. His goal as a dentist is to build a trusting relationship with patients by working with them to improve their oral health to give them a greater quality of life.
Dr. Hymas relies on proven diagnostic technology, effective treatment protocols, and high-quality dental materials to ensure his patients enjoy the benefits of long-lasting and incredibly comfortable dental care. He and his team at Hymas Family Dental are committed to educating their patients on proper oral healthcare, so they can make knowledgeable decisions in the treatment of their smiles. They truly believe in putting the patient first.
Dr. Hymas earned his undergraduate degree from Idaho State University, then went on to graduate from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2007. After graduating from dental school, he served in the U.S. Army for four years in Heidelberg, Germany, where he was a full-time dentist for active-duty soldiers and their family members. He also deployed to Iraq for six months, receiving comprehensive training in oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics.
Today, Dr. Hymas strives to continue his education by going beyond state requirements, so he can stay ahead of current trends in dentistry. He has advanced training in Biolase, Inc. and from the WhiteCap Institute. He is also a member of Smile Source®, which is a network of fantastic dental care practitioners who endeavor to provide their patients with the best care available.
Dr. Hymas has been married to his wonderful wife, Mindy, since 1999. Together, they have four children – three girls and one boy. In his spare time, he enjoys motorcycles and spending time boating in the summer and snow-skiing in the winter with his family.
